First Stage of Dhyana-Mano-Prasthan

Sit cross-legged in the lotus pose in front of Guruji’s photo with the determination of objective of practice and see Guruji devotedly without blinking. Start reciting mantra silently (continue regularly with no wish) and should try to keep the mind folded at one place.

The Ascent Dhyana starts with silent mantra [Guruji has embedded tremendous supernatural powers and energy concerned to all the nine spiritual dimensions within it]. At this point of time, light covers Guruji gradually, which one can feel it beyond the understanding of eyes. Visibility vanishes and the mental perception that cannot be reached by the language appears. One should understand that it cannot be seen with physical vision but, do not consider it as an illusion. Now, close your lids delicately but, not ‘at once’. See again with the third eye (the sixth, intuitive sense); with closed eyes, intuitive sense can see the ‘face of Guruji’. This is stage one in Dhyanaprasthan.

Forgetfulness would be caused, for the mantra influenced, sensorium mind, and for the physical instinctive exteriority, which is natural for that. Even so, this state is not Trans. There will be external memory for mind at very less level. But, this memory mind, which is senses instigated, will be different, to the usual sensorium mind. In the functional form, this itself, can be considered as ‘The Mind of the Moral Sanctity’ (the consciousness that functions based on humanity). [The Mind of Moral Sanctity would be like a "Cleaned Pearl"]. Through meditation, if one reaches the level of Conscience, that is considered as "The Mind of the Moral Sanctity". In the method of meditation, the thoughts that are reached to one point, by concentrating at that point, by establishing a "form" there, by seeing that, slowly, that what happens is, bringing the 'universal' form, into a 'micro' form; bringing that which is pervasive, to a point 'form'. Already in the pervasive Universe, the thoughts, which are universally pervasive, related to mind, are brought to a single point through this process (from ‘macro’ to ‘micro’ state). When one brings to 'micro' state – there would be a chance for that to develop as Conscience. That is what is considered as "The Mind of Moral Sanctity". By that time only, whether it is lifestyle, communication, behavior, mannerisms, characteristic features, or ways of living in the society – it would bring changes in all these (In this process of meditation, in this ascension, one has to take note of the situation that she/he certainly has to come back to the physical life again).

‘The Mind of the Moral Sanctity’ (the consciousness that functions based on humanity) - The Mind of Moral Sanctity would be like a "Cleaned Pearl".

Usually Jeevatmn would be in two ways, the first is, "Physical (functional) Jeevatmn" [(Spirit; Jeevatmn, which is in the ‘Energetic Channel’, undergoes change, as Spirit), which is the ‘Individual Self of the Physical Mind’]. The second is, the "Spiritual Self", which is with spiritual feeling, related, element, and has the microcosmic state of the Universal Soul (The Supreme Soul). In the intuitive sense, Jeevatmn has its existence, as Spiritual Jeevatmn (“Self”). In the physical life, the functional ‘Jeevatmn’ (The Spirit), which is hidden within the sensorium mind, acts in accordance with the mundane mind that is influenced by the physical senses, and help execute the bodily functions (actions). The ‘Self’ and 'Mind' are the two sides of the same coin, the ‘Self’ acts as medium to ‘Mind’ and ‘Body’, and executes the bodily functions. In between ‘Self’ and ‘Mind’, ‘Body’ functions as an instrument for both of them. The Mind instructs, the Self (Spirit, mind incited Jeevatmn) executes, and the Body helps in executing the functions. In most part of the life – principally in the matters related to materiality, 'Mind' uses ‘Self’ as conveyer of karma. For life, body – mind, and the Self (conscious) that connects those two are very important parts.

'Dhyanaprasthan', in the path of ‘Manoprasthan' (The Ascension of Mind) firstly, "Sensorium (physical) Jeevatmn", should be ‘united’, with "Spiritual Jeevatmn". For that, in the path of Dhyana-Mano-Prasthan, as beginning, by means of attaining, discipline of body parts, steadiness of body, by means of, "yoga"; to increase, the activity of neurons, centralization of neurotransmitter, through "Pranayama"; by means of objective/subjective "concentration of vision", the concentration of feeling; by means of "contemplation", orderliness of thoughts, and unison of thought and Citta; Physical Self (mind), unites with Spiritual Self (Intuitive Self). With this, ‘Sensory Silence’ would be habituated to mind. This itself, gradually, subtilizes the sensorium mind and spread-out of thought, its macro form, and severity. Consequently, the quality and quantity of thought, undergoes change, positively. This change, becomes the cause for the course of Convertible, Metamorphosis, of the movement of senses related usual Citta, and its instinctive qualities, with the feeling of reformation, its sensory intellect, as 'The Mind of The Moral Sanctity'. (The Sensorium Mind, undergoes mutational ascension, as ‘The Mind of the Moral Sanctity’).

Jeevatmn – which begins in all organisms by birth itself – by establishing as Sensorium Mind in human beings, along with it only, with the developmental advancement as Conscience, it (Jeevatmn) is hidden in the mind itself as an internal cosmic (subtlety) microcosm. If so, Conscience, which has an integral part microcosm with the Mundane Mind (formally 'Jeevatmn'), with the influence of sensorium mind itself although it helps in performance of karma/function at one stage, through spiritual practice it primarily transforms into 'The Mind of Moral Sanctity' and thereafter with dedication in practice….. the same changes into 'Spiritual Soul', and reaches Divine Soul. This is possible only through continuous spiritual practice.

In the practice of Dhyana-Mano-Prasthan, to cause the conversion of sensory – sensorium – feeling plus thought and intellect mind, which appears naturally, for human being, to “The Mind of the Moral Sanctity”; to cause, the ‘feeling’ of Conscience, to it, is the first stage. In the first stage, which appears, as the success of Dhyana-Mano-Prasthan, along with the change of, physical mind, as ‘The Mind of Moral Sanctity’, ‘Jeevatmn’, which is considered as Soul related, microcosm, with mind, its functional Spirit, in the process of this conversion of mind, with the linkage of feeling of Conscience, spiritual awareness is caused to it. That means, the Jeevatmn – which is influenced by sensorium mind, and which is as ‘Spirit’ in the form of action – with intuitive awareness, that, gets absorbed, in Conscience. In this state, Physical Mind, and the Spiritual Self, which is influenced by it, not, separately, but as Sanctity Mind, as Conscience, will be in the execution of reformed life. In the progressional practice of Dhyanaprasthan, this as Intuitive Mind, as Spiritual Soul, conversion is caused, to it. Even so, physical contemplation, memory (consciousness), will not go away completely. In this ascent practice by setting free – the physical mind, and Jeevatmn, from natural sensorium instigation – and by reforming it, to cause spiritual awareness, to them, itself, is principal. As the awareness of circumstances, senses, and the feeling of sensorium… decrease gradually, in that place, uncovering, related to sixth sense, starts. That feeling, for the experience of sensorium mind, would be, as different, new, and as undefined state. The mind, which reaches that state, itself, as ‘The Mind of Moral Sanctity’, in the daily life, with the sense of sensations only, would be in functional form, in the performance of duty.

Jeevatmn – which is influenced by sensorium mind, and which is as ‘Spirit’ in the form of action – with intuitive awareness, that, gets absorbed, in Conscience. In this state, Physical Mind, and the Spiritual Self, which is influenced by it, not, separately, but as Sanctity Mind, as Conscience, will be in the execution of reformed life.

In Ascent Dhyana, with the sense, feeling of the Energetic Channel itself, microcosm of Soul, which is considered, as Jeevatmn, functionally, combining with mind, as ‘Spirit’, by decreasing, the sensorium instigation of senses, to the extent possible, causes it, to convert into ‘The Mind of the Moral Sanctity'. [The microcosm of bio-cosmic energy (temper – temperature) in human being is also Universal Energy related only! This itself is the basis for existence of bio' of body… This may be considered as 'Soul'… This itself is Jeevatmn….! By means of centralizing the Bio-Cosmic Energy – which is hidden in the form of Jeevatmn – to even more microcosmic state through meditation in the manner of beyond-materiality, with the 'fire' that is produced thereby sensorium mind can be purified; as a result of it by eliminating physical (body) – (mind) mental natural opposition, along with keeping it in a good state (The Mind of the Moral Sanctity), with the process of Dhyanaprasthan, Jeevatmn can be culminated as Conscience – Soul – Divine Soul. This state can be considered as vision of Soul.]

The physical (senses related) Jeevatmn, which was dependant on it until then, thereafter, that would ascend as spiritual/intuitive, sixth-sense consciousness. In that state, Jeevatmn, as Conscience [oneness of ‘Mind’ and ‘Self’, the spiritual function of mind –– when the mind, as mind, cannot speak the truth, then the Soul related Jeevatmn in it coverts as Conscience, and conveys the certainty to the individual, in fact, what is present is only ‘mind’, Conscience is not present separately; the functional neutrality of the intuition is the Conscience (Intuitive Mind)], would be under the influence of sixth sense. If the (microcosm) subtlety (Jeevatmn, the same is Conscience in the developmental advancement) of the Universal Energy hidden in the mind can be transcended –– that means if it can be submitted to sixth-sense then that kind of mind has to be labeled as “The Mind of the Moral Sanctity” (the mind in the state of Conscience, Soul). The “Moral Sanctity Mind” (the consciousness that functions based on humanity) at the level of Conscience (the conscious and subconscious activity, which undergoes change, from sensory level, to spiritual consciousness) performs its domestical duties as well as social activities based on ‘Moral Sanctity’ that helps the individual lead a moral life (with compassion) which is beneficial for both the individual as well as the society. When the sensory mind becomes ‘The Mind of the Moral Sanctity’ with the cause of the Spiritual or the Intuitive Self, then, the Sensory Self has the positive intellect bearing the constructive and moral thinking. So, the actions and results, concerned would be so, accordingly.

Conscience is oneness of ‘Mind’ and ‘Self’, the spiritual function of mind –– when the mind, as mind, cannot speak the truth, then the Soul related Jeevatmn in it coverts as Conscience, and conveys the certainty to the individual, in fact, what is present is only ‘mind’, Conscience is not present separately; the functional neutrality of the intuition is the Conscience (Intuitive Mind)

In the practice of Dhyana-Mano-Prasthan, sensory sensorium mind, by means of getting absorbed, into the control of Self, which is its (mind’s) spiritual center, that, from the senses instigated primordial bio-instinct, by undergoing change gradually, to that extent, by losing, senses incited, importance, in the regulation (control) of Conscience, undergoes conversion, as 'The Mind of the Moral Sanctity'…, along with this only conscious and subconscious activity also, undergoes change, from sensorium level, to Spiritual Consciousness. This, itself, is Conscience. Similar to, the sensory sensorium mind, undergoes ‘conversion’ as ‘The Moral Sanctity Mind’, along with that, Spirit [(mind related Jeevatmn), in the practice of Dhyana-Mano-Prasthan, Spirit has to be comprehended, as the microcosm of Jeevatmn only] also undergoes change as Conscience. For this, there would be influence and involvement of sixth sense. So, as a result of practice of Dhyana-Mano-Prasthan, sensory sensorium mind, as Sanctity Mind and Spirit, as Conscience, as transcendental transfer, simultaneously, undergo conversion. This is the first stage, in the path of ascension.

This because of, the ascension of physical (senses) related, practice of meditation, is just a stage, of Manoprasthan (ascension of mind) of sensorium. Along with this, spiritual related, practice for ascension of Jeevatmn also, can be done. This, would be in two ways. As explained earlier, in the usual state, the ‘Self’, which is in the state favorable, connected, to the mundane sensorium mind, is the first one. This is, Individual Self (physical body related Jeevatmn). The second is, the Jeevatmn (Self), which is with spiritual feeling, related, element, and has the microcosmic state of Universal Soul (Supreme Soul). In the ascension of practice of meditation, firstly, mundane mind, being influenced, to the sixth sense, that, with undergoing conversion, as ‘The Mind of Moral Sanctity’… the senses related, Jeevatmn (in principle this is one (same) only), which was dependant on it, until then, thereafter, that would ascend, as spiritual/intuitive/sixth sense consciousness. In that state, Jeevatmn, as Conscience, would be under the influence of sixth sense.

Merger of 'Mind' & 'Self' – The Mind of Moral Sanctity

In Ascent Dhyana, if one brings change in the Sensorium Mind (acquired by birth), at certain stage it undergoes transformation as ‘The Mind of the Moral Sanctity’. Because of the change that comes in the brain, the mind that forms in Ascent Dhyana will change into ‘The Mind of the Moral Sanctity’. If that can be continued like that, there will be changes continuously one after the other; that is ascension. In the ‘Ascension of Mind’, spirituality is combined. It is practical that when two things combine, a third thing would emerge. In the same way, when 'human' and his 'mind' combine – some other third thing would come; it is neither 'Mind' nor 'Self'. That which comes is not the Sensorium Mind. Sensorium Mind and the Self – when they merge, 'Sanctity Mind' emerges. Sanctity means not pure but, clean. That means, that mind, which has become dirty because of senses, when merges with Self, it becomes clean. That itself is the Sanctity Mind. The thought process that comes with the Sanctity Mind would not be as with Sensorium Mind; it would be somewhat clean; (The difference is – one is "Sweating Body" and the other is "Bathed Body"). Body is same but, this is clean body and that is dirty body. In Dhyana, the formula is, when Mind and Human (self) are caused to merge, 'Sanctity Mind' emerges. In meditation, peace of mind occurs but, another mind does not come. This is Sanctity Mind (occurs only in Dhyana but, not in Meditation). If so, since thoughts also come in a good way with this Sanctity Mind in the life, the works one does also may be good only to some extent. So, along with meditation, it is good if one habituates Dhyana.

Sanctity Mind – Changes

In this life itself, through Ascent Dhyana, by transforming mind as Sanctity Mind firstly, if one could cause ascension, it will ultimately reach Absolute Zero, if not to the absolute level, at least to Sanctity Mind. With this, it is possible to change even the naturalness (the good and bad). Human Mind can be changed. Brain (quality) can be changed. In the manner wanted, Mind can be brought under the control of human being; can form the mind in the way wanted. Usually, human being is under the possession of mind; human being follows whatever the mind says because, human being has no control over mind. For that very reason, many meaningless things happen in physical life because of absence of individuality. For that reason, one should habituate Ascent Dhyana, and make an attempt to bring mind into individual's control – like that with Sanctity Mind by changing the way of thinking, bad or wickedness can be decreased.

Nervous System & Dhyana-Mano-Prasthan

The nervous system in the body, will be linked, with brain, and the principal nervous system in the back (spinal cord). The functionality, of various organs, in the body, would be in suitability to that only. External surroundings, circumstances, with the stimulation (action) of Nature, the information of senses, reaching the neurons in the brain through the spinal cord, with the reaction of those various parts, in them, the organs of the body that perform actions, are activated, for the performance of karma. So also, with the internal, feeling (action) of sensory of body also, there will be reaction of neurons. In the metabolic activity – which occurs in the ‘Hypothalamus’ that is present in the lower part of brain – and in its process, this everything is a part only. The entity of movement of Bio-matter is, the instigation for this. So, by gradually decreasing, the related instigation of sense, and its turbulence, by means of regulating, separately, the senses related divisions, in the principal nervous system, mind, can be kept, in the possession of ‘self will’, completely. In that process, ‘Self’ by means of attaining the command on the supremacy of senses, with the possession of mind, the self-control of senses, can be obtained. With the habituation, of restraint, to mind, which is in rules and regulations, in that state that, different, to the sensorium mind, attained by birth, that, undergoes conversion, as 'The Mind of The Moral Sanctity'…, peace, peacefulness, feeling of comfort of life, are indeed integral parts in this... Like this in the path of practice of Dhyana-Mano-Prasthan, it is indeed possible.

Introspective Meditation

Meditation, in Dhyana-Mano-Prasthan, in the usual manner only, begins with the feeling of sensorium, and the concentration of the mind only. Gradually, it undergoes change as introspective meditation; as a result, in the characteristics, of mind of sensorium feeling, itself, seed is sowed, for beyond-materiality spiritual conversion. This should be called transcendental culmination. This itself is the feeling of spiritual (not divinity) awareness. At this stage, as the intuitive, sixth sense, activates, as Spiritual Consciousness, gradually with the decrease of physical incitement, for sensorium mind, that, undergoes conversion, as 'The Mind of the Moral Sanctity'. There is difference for introspective meditation, and for 'deep' meditation. For the concentration of the mind, and for introspective meditation, not only in the method of practice, there is difference even in the principle. In sensorium meditation, the external feeling, gradually pines-away, decreases and forgetfulness is caused for the memory of the mind. Even so, the chance, for external memory, will be present, even weakly. But in introspective meditation, external and internal feeling, combining in the Spiritual 'Self', in the state of 'Yoga' (union), attains, unity with it. This certainty can be known, in the feeling of meditation only. For the sensorium mind, when Morality, Sanctity, turns as its nature thereafter, it is inevitable for its thoughts, intellect to follow it. Consequently, when this itself is influenced, in the performance of karma too, there is no chance, for result, experience, to be different to this.

In the body, mind – boundary of materiality, there is only first stage of Dhyana-Mano-Prasthan.

Benefits of Stage one Dhyana-Mano-Prasthan:

  1. Balance of hormones
  2. Change in blood circulation
  3. Movement of neurons become regular
  4. With decrease of speed of inhalation and exhalation, oxygen would reach the bio locations abundantly, and lungs being stimulated, enormous vigor will be reached to the body
  5. Life Force will ignite and, drive away enemies of body
  6. With the increase of JIva-Shakti, peacefulness would be caused at least to some extent
  7. Turbulence of thoughts come under control, and habitual life will not be remembered for that point of time
  8. Body and mind would reach to one place, and coordination would be caused in the execution of life.

Discipline, control will be caused for the severity of instigation of senses. Consequently, with decrease, of improper speed, in the actions, activities, of mind, noteworthy, qualitative, change will be caused, in the behavior of the human being. Thereby, with decrease of ‘tension’, in the sensorium feeling, ‘attention’ will be established, on the constructive performance of karma. There would be self-control, discretion. So, with the incitement of peaceful Citta (psychic sensory) there would be no place for either depression, or oppression in it. There will be steadiness, in phenomenal impulses. Then there is, neither complexity, perplexity, nor impulsive duplicity.

There will be no chance, for the usual, hastiness of thought. Self-control of mind, way of discretion of matter, peacefulness, comes into experience. Even so, the sensorium, materialistic, surroundings influenced mind, by itself, can bring-about, the circumstances of reaching, its previous state. Even then, by following, daily spiritual practice, since the influence of sixth sense, attains supremacy, on the feeling of senses, there would be no interruption, for steadiness of mind. The peacefulness attained through meditation, is not something, which is limited only until the duration of meditation. In daily life, that, should be developed day by day as an important part. The benefit of receipt of results should happen with that only.

'The Mind of Moral Sanctity' comes under the control of 'Self', and its Consciousness. Through Dhyana-Mano-Prasthan, this is the, primary, for 'Osculate Mind Beyond', which is wished for the sensorium mind
